Welcome to Gallery 53 Custom Framing Shop and Photography Gallery.

We are located at 246 East 53rd Street between 2nd & 3rd Ave in Midtown Manhattan, 10022. Gallery 53 has been in business for over 15 years, framing artwork as well as custom mirrors, and selling primarily black & white photography.

We work only with museum quality, archival framing materials in order to preserve the artwork and display its content with utmost clarity and grace while managing to keep our work reasonably priced. We have a national and international client base of collectors, design firms, and corporate media. Our relationships with local clients stretch back many years.

Ali Cetinkaya has owned and operated Gallery 53 in Midtown Manhattan for over 15 years. As a professional photographer, Ali has a keen eye for composition and can offer guidance regarding framing elements, such as the use of white space and framework design, to set the image off as beautifully and clearly as possible.

His client list includes the New York Times, Associated Press, FOX, The NFL, Dreamworks, the Neue Gallery, and a number of design firms and collectors of photography. In his gallery, he exhibits a collection of black and white photographs, some of which are his own works.
